The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN), Ministry of Information and Publicity, following the notification issued by NSCN, Wung Tangkhul Region (WTR) on Sunday, in another press statement on Monday, stated that the “Notification” of WTR is nullified.
The statement from Hebron today said the notification of WTR, pertaining to the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly polls is “unwarranted”.
The WTR, NSCN in its Sunday notification had said that it will monitor the polls situation to conduct a peaceful, equal and unbiased election.
“It is to be put on record that NSCN is not connected to the Assembly Election in Manipur. Thus, the involvement of NSCN/GPRN does not arise here. Therefore, the statement issued by the WTR, NSCN/GPRN is an aberration and far from the official stand of the organization,” clarified the statement.
