NSCN repudiates allegation of kidnapping Oil officers, calls it “baseless”

The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN) strongly denied involvement in kidnapping case of Oil officers attached with Kipo Oil and Infrastructure at Kumchakha in Arunachal Pradesh.

In a press statement released on Wednesday, NSCN said that it had “taken a strong exception to the baseless allegation of kidnapping”. It then said, “Where are the slightest hints to connect NSCN with the kidnapping?”

“Such an irresponsible manner of reports without ascertaining the factual truth is condemnable by all the right thinking organizations,” further said the statement, and added that what was all the more indignant was “to put the terrorist tag on NSCN”.

“There is no such terrorist organization that goes by the name NSCN which is engaged in a political negotiation,” contended NSCN.

Condemning Bhupen Goswami’s report as “a manner of cheapness”, NSCN stated that he should mature himself in his journalism to establish his credibility.
