Open letter to Himanta Biswa Sarma by TBC Lalvenchhunga

Just a day after CS level talks was held in New Delhi, there is transgression attempt by your government mowing and destroying hard toiled crops and farms of the Mizo using JCB and heavy machineries. Days after taking over and sitting at the helms, there has been series of violent and threatening action along the border not only with Mizoram but also with other sister states.

And you blatantly lies in front of the camera trying to mislead; or else your lackadaisical approach to situation in your press briefing is condemnable. The statement was unsubstantiated, erroneous, uncorroborated or either misinformed which is unlikely and also without merit.

I, therefore, would like to bring to your notice that incessantly trying to create emotional propaganda would only bring resolved and determined emotional responses from us. Let the perpetrators be known and heard.

The land belongs to us for a hundreds of years and we shall strive to hold onto it for a thousand years to come for our children, and their children and grandchildren and generations to come.
