Over 4000 healthcare workers receive COVID vaccine in Manipur till date

A total of 386 healthcare workers were vaccinated on Monday, taking the total number of people inoculated for protection from COVID-19 pandemic to 4,373 in Manipur.

This is 56.63% of the targeted beneficiaries of 7,310 during the first phase of the COVID-19 vaccination drive which commenced from January 16 last, said the state Health Department.

Meanwhile, with four persons tested positive, the COVID-19 infection tally of the state rose to 29,072 on Monday, the daily update report of the state Health Department said.

The total number of infections included 28,562 recoveries as the number of active cases has declined to 139. The recovery rate of the state stood at 98.24%.

The COVID-19 casualty tally of the state remained at 371 as no death case related to the viral disease was reported from any part of the state during the past 24 hours (till 4pm of February 1).
