Post office to be temporarily closed: Shillong

Shillong: A post office and shops in East Khasi Hills district will temporarily be closed until further orders on account of people who have tested positive for COVID-19 having visited these places.

This is as per a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) of East Khasi Hills.

The DC through an order issued on September 1 and 2, 2020 has directed Unique, Near DCIC at Polo short round road in Lawmali, Quality Auto Agency in Keating Road, Elite Drugs Distributor at RPG Complex in Keating Road, Photo Studio, opposite UCO Bank in G. S. Road, R. K. Bros in Keating Road and the office of the Senior Superintendent of Post Offices, Meghalaya, Postal Division in Shillong to temporarily remain closed until further orders.
