Kohima: The Poumai Naga Hoho Nagaland has congratulated Banner Lanamai James on wining first runner-up Mister Heritage International 2023 held at Manila, Philippines representing Mr India.

The 23-year-old Banner Lanamai James from Manipur’s Khamson village under Senapati district also won his first subtitle: Best Runway Walk, 2nd subtitle: Elegant Award, 3rd subtitle: Best Resort Wear as well as, 4th subtitle: Best in Formal Wear and first runner-up from India in the international male beauty pageant.

The Poumai Naga Hoho Nagaland while wishing the best of luck for his future endevour, acknowledged his hard work and dedication towards fulfilling his career, inspiring the youths.

Banner Lanamai James had also bagged the first Rubaru Mr India Youth Icon 2022 held in October 2022 in Tamil Nadu.

Banner Lanamai James is from the Poumai Naga community in Manipur, currently based in New Delhi. He is a freelance model, and is pursuing his master’s degree in English literature and linguistics. Banner is a strong advocate of a healthy, toxic free lifestyle and is actively involved in raising awareness on the serious issue of substance abuse. He has also been a part of several campaigns that focus on educating people about the harmful impact of such toxic substances on health.
