Imphal, August 12: The Association of Healthcare Providers of India (AHPI), Manipur Chapter, has announced the resumption of cashless treatment for PMJAY cardholders with immediate effect following an assurance from the Manipur Government.
The decision was made after a meeting between AHPI members and Health Commissioner Sumant Singh, IAS, on August 11, where concerns over prolonged non-payment of PMJAY dues were discussed. The Health Commissioner acknowledged the impact on hospitals and patients, especially those on dialysis, and assured that pending claims would be addressed on priority.

AHPI had earlier, on August 5, suspended cashless PMJAY services citing financial distress due to delayed reimbursements. With the government’s commitment to clear the dues at the earliest, the association has decided to withdraw the suspension and continue providing cashless services to beneficiaries as before.
AHPI reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the government to uphold patient welfare and maintain high standards of healthcare in Manipur.
