Robbie Fowler set to be named East Bengal’s head coach with Renedy Singh as the Indian Assistant coach

Former Liverpool and England International striker Robbie Fowler is set to become East Bengal’s head coach for the upcoming edition of the ISL; the first time East Bengal will play in the top flight competition.

According to Marcus Mergulhao of the Times of India, the full list of the East Bengal coaching staff is as follows:

Head coach: Robbie Fowler, Assistant coach: Anthony Grant, Set piece coach: Terence McPhillips, GK coach: Robert Mimms, Sports Scientist: Jack Inman, Physio: Michael Harding, Analyst: Joseph Walmsley, Indian Assistant Coach: Renedy Singh

Meanwhile, former East Bengal and Indian International Renedy Singh is set to be named the Indian Assistant Coach for East Bengal.

The Kolkata giants have been reluctant to dip in the transfer market before the appointment of a head coach and the coaching staff. The imminent arrival of the new coaching staff is set to trigger a number of signings in the weeks that follow.
