Saikul MLA Kimneo Hangshing Inaugurates Key Bridge Linking to Kangpokpi DHQ

Kangpokpi, July 19: Saikul MLA Kimneo Hangshing on Thursday inaugurated the newly reconstructed bridge connecting Saikul to Kangpokpi District Headquarters, a vital link for residents of the area.

Addressing a small gathering, the MLA thanked the Reconstruction Committee for their tireless work and acknowledged the collective effort of churches from different denominations, KCC, KBC, CBCA, and TBA, along with the Kuki Inpi Saikul and local volunteers who came together to complete the project.

“This bridge means a lot for the people of Saikul,” she said. “It’s the only route connecting us directly to the district headquarters, and its completion shows what we can achieve when the community stands united.”

The bridge is now open to the public and ready for transportation of goods and daily travel.
