SENAPATI, SEP 14: Asufii Christian Institute (ACI) Autonomous welcomed its freshers with a programme held on September 12 under the theme, “Dream, Believe, Achieve.”
The programme was organised by the fifth-semester students, with Kholi Saza as convenor and Ashihrii Athihrii as co-convenor.
The inaugural session was attended by Heni Loli, manager of SBI Senapati Branch, as chief guest. The session began with a prayer by Adani, assistant professor in the Department of Political Science, followed by a welcome song by the fifth-semester students and an address by ACI principal Dr. Daili Neli.
Addressing the freshers, Loli encouraged them to strive for academic excellence while developing a positive approach towards learning and building friendships during their college years.

The session also featured special performances and an address by senior students before concluding with a prayer for the freshers by college chaplain S.K. Abraham.
The informal session, hosted by Ngachanthem Vashi and Shihrani Daili of the fifth-semester Political Science department, featured talent performances and question rounds aimed at encouraging interaction among the students.
The programme culminated in the selection of Miss and Mr Fresher ACI 2026, with Ashuli Adaziini and Tsiivei Topson Soukhamai being crowned Miss Fresher and Mr Fresher, respectively, after multiple rounds of competition.
The programme concluded with a prayer led by Ashuni, assistant professor in the Department of Zoology.
