Sangkungmai: Assam Rifles Hosts “A Day With The Company Commander”

UKHRUL: Assam Rifles organized “A Day with the Company Commander” at Sangkungmai in Senapati district, Manipur, aimed at strengthening bonds with the local community, especially the youth.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from civil society organisations, students and teachers of St Mary School Bendramai, St Vincent School Pumdunglong and Missionary School Bendramai, along with villagers from across the district.

The day featured a series of engaging activities including a Freedom Run, hoisting of the National Flag with the singing of the National Anthem and Vande Mataram, followed by tug of war and musical chairs. A cleanliness and plantation drive was also conducted to promote environmental awareness.

Winners of various competitions were felicitated with prizes, and the event concluded with an interactive lunch, fostering camaraderie and mutual understanding.
