Kohima, March 31: Sazolie College was assessed for the 2nd cycle of assessment and accreditation by the Peer team constituted by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Bengaluru on 23rd and 24th March 2023 and is accredited with a CGPA of 2.87 at B++ Grade. 

Dr. Gopal Chetri, Principal of Sazolie College stated that the college was first assessed in the year 2016 for the 1st cycle of assessment and accreditation and was accredited with CGPA of 2.63 at B+ Grade.

College is making good progress in providing quality education in the state of Nagaland. Presently the college is offering Under-Graduate degree in Arts stream with honors in Education, English, Linguistics, History, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology and Philosophy and Post – Graduate degree in History and Political Science subjects.  

The College is planning to introduce skilled based courses – BBA in Digital Marketing and B. Designing (Textile Designing) in collaboration with IDAN from the academic session 2023-24.

The college is situated on the prominent slopes of Mt. Puliebadze located at Phezhu, Jotsoma and is well equipped with the facilities that are required to promote quality education – Playground, hostels, canteen, Laboratories, MI Room, Legal Aid Service Cell, Staff quarters, Gymnasium, Library, Auditorium Hall, Girls Common Room, etc.
