Search Operations Underway to trace Missing Person

Imphal, Mar 18: To trace a missing person from Imphal, the Manipur Police Department and central security forces have launched search operations in all suspected areas.

A police report said that a missing person report of one Luwangthem Mukesh (20) of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai, Imphal West, was reported to the officer-in charge, Imphal Police Station on March 17. 

On receipt of the report, an inquiry has been initiated, the police report said.

Meanwhile, Republican Party of India (Athawale) National Secretary, Maheshwar Thounaojam has urged the DGP of Manipur Police for immediate rescue of Luwangthem Mukhesh, son ofLuwangthm Gyanendra, of Keishampat Leimajam Leikai in Imphal West.

In a letter to the DGP, Maheshwar drew the latter’s attention concerning the matter of Luwangthem Mukhesh.

“His life may be in grave danger, and immediate intervention by the police is necessary to ensure his safety,” the letter mentioned. 

The letter also urged the DGP to deploy the necessary all law enforcement personnel to locate and rescue Luwangthem Mukhesh at the earliest.

“This situation requires prompt action to prevent any harm from coming to him. I trust the Manipur Police to act swiftly in restoring order and securing his safe release,” it further urged.

The letter also urged the Manipur police chief to take this matter as a priority and initiate immediate rescue operations.
