Sexual Assault of what seems to be a Northeast Woman not related to Jodhpur suicide case of Nagaland woman as claimed by social media posts

The internet is rife with a video clip of a woman brutally manhandled, stripped off her clothes and sexually assaulted, by a gang of five unidentified persons, including a woman. However no one has been able to ascertain the identity of the victim as well as the identity of the 5 assailants. Except the victim, who appears to be from Northeast India, the assailants appearance and the language used in the video clip suggest they are from central or eastern India, as the Hindi spoken in the video clip suggest.

The video clip has been circulating on various social media groups including YouTube where some content creators have tried to score cheap points by projecting the incident as a racial sexual abuse meted out to Northeast citizens in India and that the victim is the same Naga woman, Lovikali Sumi who committed suicide in Jodhpur, Rajashtan on May 23.

However, it has immerged that the veracity of this claim has been challenged. The victim in the video clip is not the same Naga woman who committed suicide. The authority including Police are oblivious about the place and identity of the 5 assailants, including the victim in the video clip.
