Ukhrul: Rinchon Sangkhro, hailing from Ukhrul district’s Chingjaroi CV, recently bagged the prestigious Gold Medal in Master of Science (Forensic Science) from Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
A felicitation program was organised by Chingjaroi CV Shanao Long today at her native village to honour her distinguished academic performance.
Rinchon Sangkhro, daughter of Ramthar Sangkhro and Mingthingla Sangkhro in 2018 was also awarded Gold Medal by Golgatias University for topping University Exam in B. Sc (Forensic Science).
She is currently pursuing her Ph. D in National Forensic Sciences University. She previously worked as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Cyber Forensics division of NFSU, Delhi campus. She also served with Rashtriya Raksha University, Gujarat where she was involved in various academic and research activities, carrying out field works in Delhi and Gujarat with various CAPFs such as CRPF, RAF, BSF & ITBP.
After completion of her Masters in Forensic Science with specialisation in Cyber Forensics from LNJN NICFS, she received various trainings from reputed organisations such as CyPAD, Cyber Crime Unit, Delhi Police and Centre for Advanced Computing (C-DAC), Noida and at also worked in various Forensic Science Laboratories (FSLs).
