In a joint effort in combating the Covid-19 pandemic, supporters of Ningam Chamroy (Retd IAS) intending Bhartiya Janata Party candidate of 45-Chingai (ST) Assembly Constituency commenced the party’s Covid relief support goods on August 22, Sunday.
Supporters of N Chamroy visited four institutional quarantine centres in Ukhrul district namely CHIC Secondary School QC, Transit Qtr QC, District Hospital and TK Woodland QC.
The team distributed to the inmates and staffs of all the four institutional quarantine centres basic goods and amenities to aid the welfare of the quarantine centres.
In purview of the present health crisis, the team coordinated with the quarantine centres staffs as well as the authority and followed the laid down SOPs as mandated during the distribution of the relief goods.
IAS (retired) N Chamroy officially joined BJP Manipur on August 15 in the presence of Manipur Pradesh BJP President Sharda Devi and other party leaders. He is 1981 MPSC batch and retired on superannuation in 2018 after serving in various capacities and Manipur State Civil service/ Indian Administrative Service officer for 38 years.
