Tamenglong: Discussion on “Drug Issue vis-à-vis Social Justice” held

Tamenglong: A one-day panel discussion on “Drug Issue vis-à-vis Social Justice” was organised on February 20, 2025 at the Multi-purpose Hall of Tamenglong College. The program was organised by Tamenglong College in collaboration with District Administration and District Social Welfare Department, Tamenglong, on the occasion of Social Justice Day 2025 as part of Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Campaign, 2024-25.

According to a press statement issued by Ngamtinlun Touthang, Assistant Professor and IT Nodal Officer of the College, the event was graced by Dr. Kinthuijinang Maremmei, Principal, as the keynote speaker; Adv. Daniel P. Kamsuan, Advocate and Member of the Juvenile Justice Board, Tamenglong; Insp. TP Kiukamlakpou, Officer-in-Charge, Tousem Police Station; Dr. Maliangjinliu Panmei, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of History; and Dr. Ninglu, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Political Science, as panelists. Ngampingampou Gonmei, Assistant Professor in the Department of History, served as the moderator.

The program was attended by students, teachers and staff of the college including Dibam Gonmei, Vice-Principal, who also proposed the vote of thanks.
