Tamenglong District Administration appeals public to give full cooperation towards development projects

According to an order issued by deputy commissioner Tamenglong, Armstrong Pame IAS, in view of few locals threatening and even resorting to violence on workers engaged in National projects, the order warned that befitting punishments will be given against those persons.

There has been report that some local publics are threatening and even resorting to violence against some of the workers executing various National projects such as Highways, Water Reservoirs, etc, it said.

While strongly condemning such uncivilised anti development actions, the DA urged the general public to extend maximum cooperation to ensure that the people working in projects were given maximum support and ensure peaceful environment in order to complete all developmental works well on time.
