Rani Gaidinliu, also known as Rani Maa, was an exponent of Haipou Jadonang who launched religious movement to reform Zeliangrong Naga community which later became political struggle to uproot British colonialism from Manipur and Naga inhabited areas, under the movement called as Naga Raj Movement. Rani Gaidinliu emerged as an active leader of British resistance before she was arrested in 1932 by British authorities.

The commandant also urged the youth to bring upliftment and development in the society. He also motivated the gathered youth to join security forces and asked them to preserve, protect and enrich the hard earned freedom to promote a sense of national integration and commitment. The commandant also highlighted various development activities being carried out by the unit in the locality.
