Tāngkhul Naga Long Congratulates Alfred Arthur and S. Supongmeren Jamir

Ukhrul: The Tāngkhul Naga Long and the Executive Council has extended its heartiest congratulations to Alfred Kanngam Arthur for his remarkable victory in the 18th Lok Sabha Election for the Outer Constituency, Manipur.

“We wish him Godspeed as he shoulders the significant responsibilities of being a Member of Parliament. As he takes his position in the hallowed halls of Parliament, we fervently hope that our concerns and voices, which have long gone unheard, will now be acknowledged and addressed”, stated a TNL congratulatory note issued on Thursday.

In addition, the apex Tāngkhul Naga civil body extended its felicitation to S. Supongmeren Jamir for his splendid win in the 18th Lok Sabha Election from the state of Nagaland. “We wish and pray that his journey to Parliament will bring glory and honor to the Nagas across the region,” TNL stated.

The victories of both leaders are seen as a beacon of hope for the Naga community, with aspirations that their representation will lead to positive changes and greater recognition of the issues facing their people, added TNL.
