In the heart of Manipur, amidst the picturesque settings of Imphal, a new Music Video titled PetKhok, a romantic love song is going to make waves in the music scene. Directed by Mazanmung AC [the man behind the highly popular Maphã Luilu MV], and featuring popular singers MOC and Yungyung, the Tangkhul pop MV will showcase the talent and creativity of the cast and crew, captivating visuals and stirring music.
The MV stars Songashim Rungsung, official Friendship Ambassador and Mister Friendship International 2022 2nd Runner-Up from India, and Strela Luwang, a model, social activist and Femina Miss India 2023 2nd runner-up, whose on-screen chemistry brings the romantic story to life. The videography, masterfully executed by Sorenzan Vashum and Okchar A Chihui, captures the essence of romance and heartbreak in Imphal’s unique locations, including the Harvest Cafe and Ukiyo Book Store. The MV is sponsored by Zingron.
Behind the scenes, Ather Khapai’s meticulous makeup artistry, Mahaipam Kashung’s costume and styling, and the assistance of Nganah Kashung contribute to the video’s polished look. The team, managed by Mashungmi Zingkhai, dedicated over six months to screenwriting and storyboarding by director by Mazanmung AC, ensuring every perfect detail before filming commenced.
Despite the challenges of scouting and choosing locations due to the current situation in Manipur, PetKhok production team’s perseverance is getting paid off soon.
