Three fresh COVID-19 cases in Manipur, total tally stands at 29,286

Three new positive cases reported in a span of 24 hours took the total COVID-19 infections in Manipur to 29,286 on Friday.

The total infections included 28,880 recoveries as the active case declined to 33 after two patients were discharged having recovered from the viral infections on Friday. The recovery rate of the state stood at 98.61%.

As no death related to the pandemic was reported from any part of the state in the past 24 hours, the fatality tally remained at 373.

On the other hand, with 2,083 vaccinated today, the total number of people vaccinated against COVID-19 in the state reached 62,649. The beneficiaries included 30,079 healthcare workers, the Health department stated in its daily update report.
