Three Legislators from NE Shines under top 50 MLAs in the country

UT News Service | Aug 13: In a survey conducted by Fame India-Asia Post about MLAs across the country, 3 Legislators from North East made it to the top 50 MLAs list under the Fame India – Asia post Popular Collectors Survey 2020.

Following are the three MLA names and the categories for which they are selected from North East.

Forerunner – Mrinal Saikia, (Khumtai Assembly, Assam)

Artistic – Mmhonlumo Kikon, (Bhandari Assembly, Nagaland)

Ujjwal – Aditya Gole, (Sorong Chakung Assembly, Sikkim)

The goal of Fame India magazine is to “bring forth and encourage those who do better for the society” and that the magazine “believes that by honoring those who are doing some good work, they are encouraged to do better and the sense of responsibility increases”, Fame India-Asia Post said.

A total of 1500 MLAs were revealed in the online survey excluding Ministers and Chief Ministers. The selection criteria of the MLAs, Fame India-Asia Post said is based on their “popularity, working style, commitment, social concern, influence, public engagement, public interest, image as well as zero hours, attention proposals, bills presented, debate, presence in the legislative assembly, expenditure of MLA fund etc”.
