TKLD Elects New Executive Team for 2024-2026 with a Vision for Cultural and Educational Advancement

Ukhrul: The Tangkhul Katamnao Long Delhi (TKLD) has announced its newly elected executive team, ushering in a period of dynamic progress aimed at advancing cultural and educational objectives for the tenure of 2024-2026. TKLD for the first time in its history has extended its office tenure from one year to two years from this batch onwards.

TKLD said that the election for the new tenure was conducted in strict accordance with Article 18(b) of the TKLD constitution, was held transparently in the presence of the election commission and TKLD members on May 11, 2024.

The newly elected TKLD Executives:

  • President: Nganingam Pheiray from Phungcham
  • General Secretary: Thanrei W Shimray from Teinem
  • Women Coordinator: Horchamphy Khapudang from Langli
  • Education Secretary: Leiyarinthing Woleng from Sirarakhong
  • Vice President: Eric Thingshung from Hungpung
  • Vice President: Horching Spizaetus Machinao from Khambi
  • Vice President: Worthemphy Jelly from Khamasom
  • Joint Secretary: Phungkhok SA from Marangphung
  • Finance Secretary: Chonmipem Jajo from Phalang
  • Social & Cultural Secretary: Mashangam Leisan from Lamlang
  • Games and Sports Secretary: Thotsem Mahung from Shingta
  • Women – Coordinator: Rinchuila Longpinao from Choithar
  • Public Relation Secretary: Philathem Jervish Shaiza from Louphong
  • Public Relation Secretary: Themshang Seipainao from Tashar

The TKLD executive team for the tenure 2024-2026 was elected uncontested, demonstrating a unified consensus within the community. This unanimous selection highlights the confidence and trust vested in these leaders to advance the collective vision and goals for the coming years, said TKLD.
