Manipur Police Apprehends Suspects in Recent Attacks on Civilians in Imphal City

Imphal: In response to the recent spate of attacks on civilians in and around Paona Bazar and Thangal Bazar areas in Imphal City, Manipur Police has taken swift action by registering a case and initiating an investigation. During the course of the investigation, authorities identified and apprehended seven individuals suspected to be involved in these incidents from various locations in Imphal West and Imphal East Districts.

The apprehended individuals are, Khumukcham Brainny Singh (19 years old) and R.K. Ronish Singh (22 years old).

Police also detained five minors in conflict with the law (CCL) in connection with the attacks.

Police said further inquiries are underway to ensure the safety and security of residents in the affected areas.
