TKLI Celebrates Return of SAFF U-19 Champion Prashan Jajo

Imphal, May 23: Team Tangkhul Katamnao Long Imphal (Tangkhul Students’ Union, Imphal) headed by its President Mathotmi Kasar alongside Games & Sports Secretary Yarmi Hungyo warmly welcomed the home coming of a Tangkhul lad Prashan Jajo, S/o Jajo Ramthing from Manipur who represented team India and clinched the winning title of the recently concluded ‘SAFF U-19 Championship 2025’ at the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal.

Jajo has by displaying his God-given talent showcased many beautiful skills and contributed the winning goals by playing as Forward for the team. After having witnessed the extraordinary talent displayed by him, we are inclined to believe that Jajo who is currently at Sudeva Club, Delhi has the caliber to achieve a greater heights in his profession as a footballer.

We the team TKLI also extends our heartiest congratulations to Mr. Jajo and his teammates from Manipur who represented India and made it to such a glorious title achievement for the team India. It is indeed a proud moment for India in general and Manipur in particular. Despite its small population, Manipur has been referred to as the powerhouse of sports due to its remarkable contribution to Indian sports.

Therefore, we encourage every individual to continue lending your support for the sportspersons and also working hard to achieve like one. We also encourage the concerned State Authorities responsible for the upliftment of sportspersons to continue doing the best to uplift our youths to the highest level they could reach. The Union wishes its best for their future endeavours.
