Imphal: The Tribal Youth Council Manipur (TYCM), General Headquarters, as part of its ongoing efforts to pressurize the Manipur State Government, is organizing a peaceful democratic demonstration in the form of a sit-in protest near TBCI on December 13, 2024, starting from 11:30 am.

The TYCM-GHQ said in a statement today that it “stands firmly” for the tribal communities in Manipur, advocating for “our inherent rights” to live with dignity and liberty. “We believe that the future of our people lies in the hands of the youth, under the principle that ‘Youths are the Pillar of the Nation'”, the statement also said, adding, “Together, we must strive for a brighter future and create a lasting legacy for generations to come”.
