Shillong, July 10: In a significant operation, Meghalaya Police, acting on specific intelligence inputs from the Border Security Force (BSF),  foiled an exfiltration attempt by Bangladeshi nationals today, an official source said.

Two Bangladeshi nationals were found to be attempting to illegally cross over with the help of two Indian touts.

The incident occurred at the Mawlai bypass in Shillong, where the operational team intercepted a target vehicle, it also said.
