UDSA consoles demise of Nepo Hongvah

The members of the Ukhrul District Sports Association (UDSA) in a condolence message issued on Wednesday condoled the death of Nepo Hongvah of Choithar village, a senior member of UDSA who passed away at 01:30 PM on June 21 after prolonged illness at his residence at Viewland Zone III, Ukhrul.

The condolence message issued by UDSA President, Alfred Kan-ngam Arthur, MLA 44 AC (Ukhrul ST) said “Nepo Hongvah was certified as a State Class II Referee in 1982 and was the first from Ukhrul to officiate as referee at the 33rd Edition of CC Meet, 1986.”

UDSA, the oldest football association of Ukhrul expressed its deepest sorrow at the demise of Nepo Hongvah (Ngaranmi), and said that his passing away is a great loss for UDSA.

“It is our sincere prayer that the Almighty God grant strength and solace to the family in their of mourning. May His Soul Rest In Eternal Peace,” UDSA added.
