Ukhrul: Manipur State Power Company Limited has scheduled power shutdown in some areas under Ukhurl District on January 10, Wednesday to facilitate shifting of transmission line.

In a press note issued on Tuesday, the office of the Manager Transmission Sub-Division no. VIII, Manipur State Power Company Limited, Lamphelpat informed the general public that, the 33KV Transmission line from 33KV Hundung Sub-Station to 33KV Ukhrul Khunjao willl be under shutdown on January 10, 2024.

The notification stated that the shutdown is due to the planned shifting of 33KV transmission line at Pharung Village, Ukhrul.
“During, this period there will be no power supply to the consumers of 33KV Ukhrul Khunjao SS, 33KV Tollor SS, 33KV Namrei SS & 33KV Jessami SS from 8 am to 5 pm. The inconvenienced caused to the general public is highly regretted,” said the MSPCL.
