Ukhrul, October 27: FashionTV (FTV) has officially announced its entry into Ukhrul town, marking a new chapter in the region’s growing fashion and creative industry. The initiative aims to nurture local talent, create sustainable career opportunities, and stimulate economic growth through skill-based training.
In his welcome address, Peacemoon Zimik said that FTV’s arrival in Ukhrul “will bring a sea change in the town’s fashion landscape” and help build a foundation for long-term professional growth by equipping individuals with the skills needed to thrive in the industry.

The program director shared that FTV launched its first batch of training programs at its Dimapur branch in May 2025, with all trainees successfully placed in reputed companies. Admissions for the second batch will open in November 2025, while registration and counseling for aspirants from Ukhrul will take place at the Career Pathfinder Office, TTA Complex, Hamleikhong Hungpung, in Ukhrul district, Manipur.
FTV officials from Dimapur, led by NG Ngashangam proprietor of FTV Dimapur branch, including Ellen Lam, a professional makeup artist, and Viliho Assuhi, an academy counsellor, attended the Ukhrul event. Following the signing of an official agreement, a career guidance and counseling session was held, moderated by Peimichon Ningshen, with a prayer of blessing offered by Makleingam Khamrang.

More than 40 enthusiastic youth job seekers took part in the event, many expressing renewed optimism and inspiration following their interactions with the visiting FTV team.
