Given the glaring virus penetration, it has become all the more important for the general public to strictly follow the laid Covid SOPs by concerned authorities spearheading the Covid situations.

Vast majority hesitation in Ukhrul district to vaccinate is another key factor. Post covid vaccination death is also another factor creating fear psychosis in the minds of the people. In addition to imparting Covid do’s and don’ts, a way out to address effectively the urgency in rural areas where bulk of population are concentrated in a way that would not hamper their agricultural activities should be key, a local opined.

With the onset of monsoon, though it has been erratic, the most important period has arrived for the agrarian communities to begin their agricultural activities. Any disturbance at this crucial period will have serious consequences in villagers harvest yield which could cripple their way of life.
