Ukhrul reports 38 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday; Active tally spike to 171

With detection of another 38 new Covid -19 positive cases on Wednesday, Ukhrul district total active cases has climbed to 171.

According to district surveillance officer Ukhrul, cumulative positive stands at 1299 of which 723 are males while 576 are females.

Eight patients were discharged Wednesday.

Out of the total active cases, 33 patients are at district hospital isolation ward, 58 at transit CCC, 30 at TK woodland covid hospital, and another 50 patients are lodged at Ukhrul higher secondary school.

The district cumulative fatality have reached 34.

Ukhrul logged 16 positive cases on Tuesday while another 13 patients were discharged.
