Ukhrul Residential house declared Containment zone

UKHRUL: Following detection of a Covid-19 positive case from a residential house in Ukhrul district headquarters, the district magistrate, in an order issued Friday, has declared the house as a containment zone with immediate effect till further orders. The patient had reportedly returned from Imphal.

The declared containment zone residential house belonged to one S Soreichon, located at Harkuikathe Tang (locality). The family members have been directed to refrain from stepping out of their house, remain in isolation under strict home quarantine.

The district magistrate order said, “It has been reported that one returnee of Ukhrul district from Imphal has been tested covid-19 positive, and in view of impending threat of covid~19 pandemic in the area, it has become expedient to issue containment measure to prevent spread of the disease in the area”.
