Imphal: A middle aged man was shot in the foot by unknown armed miscreants near Changangei Law College under Lamphel Police Station in Imphal West District around 4:30 AM today.

The victim has been identified as Akham Ringo, 50 year old, son of late A Lalmani from Kwakeithel Thounaojam Leikai.

He has been taken to Regional Institute of Medical Sciences Hospital for treatment.
