Unlock-1 to begin in Nagaland from July 1

The High Powered Committee has decided to go for Unlock 1 from July 1 till July 10 in Nagaland. Decision in this regard was informed by High Powered Committee Spokesperson for Covid-19, Neiba at the Secretariat Conference Hall Kohima on Monday.

Neiba Kronu addressing the media said that the High Powered Committee held a virtual video confrence with the CM Neiphiu Rio and decision was taken to go for Unlock 1 keeping in view of the situations in the State.

He further said that under the relaxations, curfew will be imposed from 7 PM till 4 AM, fifty percent attendance in government offices, fifty members for churches, weddings and funerals, shops will be opened on rotational basis.
Schools are to remain closed till further notice.

The High Power Committee also time and again emphasised the importance of vaccination and aims to achieve positivity rate from current nine percent to five percent or below. He stressed that stringent Covid-19 appropriate behaviour has to be followed with the relaxations.

Neiba Kronu also informed that additional measures will be brought up by District Task Force to implementing certain measures considering the situation.
