US Consul General in Kolkata Meets Tripura CM Prof (Dr.) Manik Saha

Agartala, Sept 11: The growing Indo-US partnership found new resonance in Agartala on Thursday as US Consul General in Kolkata, Cathy Giles Diaz, met Tripura Chief Minister Prof. (Dr.) Manik Saha at the state Secretariat.

In a social media post, the Chief Minister confirmed that it was a courtesy meeting with the visiting US diplomat. He said the interaction featured constructive discussions on a wide range of areas where India and the United States could work together.

According to the Chief Minister, both sides explored possibilities of strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation in sectors such as trade, education, culture, and investment.

Saha noted that the dialogue underlined Tripura’s openness to engage with international partners for development and mutual growth.
