Video Contest on Women & Anemia held in Chandel

Chandel: Wisecrabs – Chandel in collaboration with the office of CMO Chandel organized a Video Contest on ‘Women & Anemia’ under ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ initiative especially for the women residents of Chandel district.

Over 60 videos were received giving a major boost to the attempt to raise awareness on Anemia in adolescent women.

Th Yearshim Monsang from Sinadam village was adjudged the winner of the contest taking home Rs 4000 with the certificate.

Chinghring Rebirthson Ritoon and Doshung Ruwnglel from Abungnikhu village were adjudged 2nd & 3rd positions respectively, taking home Rs 3000 and Rs 2000 with certificates.

Db Naomi from Angkhel Chayang village and Everest Huten from Tampi village rounded off the 4th and 5th position, taking home Rs 500 each with certificates.

The prize distribution was held on July 21, Thursday at the CMO’s Office, Hnatham village with Dr Serthani Serbum (CMO), Ts Mhanthung Anal (President, Wisecrabs), Tovir Ng (CMO office), Ts Konia (Executive, Wisecrabs) and Db Rengshing (Executive, Wisecrabs) in attendance.
