Village Headmen Under Ukhrul Dist Notified to Hoist National Flag On 75th Independence Day Celebration

Deputy commissioner of Ukhrul has directed headmen under Ukhrul district to hoist national flag at their respective village on the occasion of India’s Independence day celebration.

As per minutes of the meeting chaired by State chief secretary on August 7, all headmen/ village chiefs of all villages have been notified to celebrate the 75th Independence day by hoisting national flag at their respective villages, stated a notification issued by deputy commissioner Ukhrul on Monday.

The notification also urged to followed Covid Appropriate Behaviour.

It also further requested all the headmen/chiefs to collect national flag from their concerned Sub-divisional officers.

75th India’s Independence day falls on Sunday.
