UKHRUL: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has extended its resolute and heartfelt best wishes to all candidates appearing for the upcoming HSLC and HSE Examinations 2026 conducted under the Board of Secondary Education Manipur (BOSEM), Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM), and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
In a statement issued on Monday, the association described the examinations as crucial milestones in the academic journey of students, emphasizing their significance in shaping future careers and determining long-term aspirations. Quoting the saying, “Well begun is half done,” ANSAM underscored that these examinations are not mere academic exercises but defining moments that test students’ intellectual ability, discipline, endurance, integrity, and inner strength.
The association stated that what students write in these examinations will have far-reaching implications beyond the classroom, influencing their professional paths and contributing to the larger progress of society. It encouraged all candidates to approach the examinations with sincerity and determination, viewing them as the first major stepping stone in their academic and personal development.

ANSAM has also appealed to churches and prayer centres to remember the students in their prayers, seeking strength, clarity, and success for them during the examination period.
Further, the association called upon civil authorities, law enforcement agencies, examination bodies, educational institutions, and all stakeholders to ensure that a safe, peaceful, and conducive atmosphere is maintained in and around examination centres. It stressed that there must be zero tolerance for any form of disturbance, intimidation, transportation difficulties, power disruptions, or any obstacle that could affect students’ performance and well-being.
Additionally, ANSAM urged its constituent and subordinate units to oversee proper conduct within their respective jurisdictions to ensure that the examinations are held in a free, fair, and disciplined manner.
