Wisecrabs Honours MPSC CSE 2022 Achievers, Inspires Aspirants in Chandel

CHANDEL, May 29: Wisecrabs on Friday organised the third edition of its flagship programme, ‘In Conversations’, a felicitation-cum-interactive session to honour successful candidates of the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2022 and inspire aspiring civil servants from across Chandel district.

The programme, held at the Town Hall in Panchai village, Chandel, drew around 300 students, teachers, parents and civil service aspirants from various educational institutions across the district.

Three successful candidates of the MPSC CSE 2022 were felicitated during the event. They included Katrimsha Moningpha Tarao, who secured Rank 12, Lucksha N. Moyon (Rank 108), and RL Sharika (Rank 139). The achievers attended the programme along with their family members.

Students from institutions including Oak Hill Christian Academy, Koinonia Training School, St Peter’s Higher Secondary School, St Joseph High School, Model Residential School and United College, Lambung, participated in the interactive session.

The event was supported by several distinguished individuals and well-wishers, including United College principal Dr Danney Chara, SDO Chandel Reikimdaar Khaling, contractor Albert Chothe, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Chandel principal Amarson Sankhil, DCO Chandel Stephen Nula, ADC Noney ST Rithung MCS, and DIET principal Rd Esther.

Addressing the gathering, Wisecrabs president Ts Mhanthung underscored the importance of recognising and celebrating the achievements of local talents while creating opportunities for interaction between achievers and aspiring students.

He said positive role models play a crucial role in guiding and motivating young minds towards academic and professional excellence. Mhanthung also reflected on the journey of Wisecrabs as an inclusive and progressive platform that documents and celebrates the accomplishments of people from Chandel district with the aim of inspiring future generations.

In a special moment during the programme, Rev. Sng Nelson, pastor of Lambung Baptist Church, offered prayers and words of encouragement for the achievers and their families.

The interactive session, moderated by Hermyne Shelmoi, witnessed active participation from students as the three achievers shared insights into their educational journeys, preparation strategies, challenges faced and future aspirations. Participants also engaged in a lively question-and-answer session, seeking guidance and motivation from the successful candidates.

The felicitation session was moderated by Wisecrabs executive NL Roshni, while the programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by joint secretary Rengshing Dilbung.
