Woman nabbed with 20,000 pieces of WY tablets in Manipur

Police in Manipur arrested a woman with 20,000 pieces of WY (World is Yours) tablets.

A police press statement on Thursday said that Nengkim from Kangpokpi district was nabbed with the contraband drugs from Kanglatongbi Bazar Board in Imphal West district on March 10, around 3pm.

She was apprehended by a team of Narcotic Affairs of Border (NAB) of the state police with 20,000 WY (amphetamine) pieces of tablets weighing about 2.1 from her possession, the police claimed. 

She has been taken into custody by the NAB police station, Imphal for necessary legal action, the police added.
