World Nature Conservation Day 2021 was observed at National Institute of Technology Manipur on Wednesday.
The observance is in line with Van Mahotsav, Swachhta Bharat, Pakhwada, Jan Shakti Abhiyan etc being initiated by Government of India.
As part of the World Nature Conservation Day 2021, tree plantation programme was held at NIT Manipur under COVID-19 SOP with Director Dr. Gautam Sutradhar as the chief guest and Dr. Ngangbam Romeji Singh, HoD, Civil engineering department as the program coordinator.
The program was held under the theme “Progressive is impossible without change. And those who cannot change their minds cannot do anything.”
Myriads of environment friendly trees were planted at NIT Manipur, Langol Campus.
The observance is in line with Van Mahotsav, Swachhta Bharat, Pakhwada, Jan Shakti Abhiyan etc being initiated by Government of India.
The event was participated by faculty and administrative staffs including L. Dorendro Assistant Registrar, I. Bidan Assistant Registrar Academic, and Th. Khelchandra Assistant Professor, among others.
