In a firm stance, the office also declared that any form of taxation imposed on poppy plantations is illegal and must be closely monitored and prevented. “Non-compliance to this order shall be treated as willful defiance which will necessitate stern action as deemed fit,” the order warned.

The directive takes immediate effect, signaling a zero-tolerance policy towards poppy-related activities in the region. Authorities have been instructed to enforce the order strictly and ensure that no violations occur.
