UKHRUL: Yarmungchan Zimik, who earlier served as Public Relations Officer (PRO) to the Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament (Hills), has been appointed as an executive member of the National People’s Party (NPP), Manipur State Executive Committee.
The appointment was announced in an official order issued by NPP Manipur president Dr. Lorho S. Pfoze on Friday. The order, issued under Article 9.4 of the party’s constitution, said the appointments take immediate effect.

Besides Yarmungchan Zimik, the party appointed Thaiba Sanjit, Mangshatabam Hare Krishna, Toijam Nimai Singh, Soshim Gurung and Henry Keishing as executive members of the State Executive Committee.
The Manipur unit, extended its “warmest welcome to Zimik as he steps into this new journey to contribute to the growth of the party and the welfare of the people.”
Zimik’s appointment comes as the party continues to strengthen its organisational structure in Manipur, particularly in the hill districts. Having previously worked in parliamentary public relations, he is expected to contribute to the party’s outreach and organisational activities.
