Imphal: Zeliangrong Meet 2024 was held at Manipur University today, organized under the theme “Preserving Zeliangrong Heritage and Unity” and witnessed display of cultural richness and academic fervor. The annual event was graced by IGP Dr. IK Muivah as the Chief Guest. The gathering was attended by faculty members, research scholars, postgraduate students, and leaders of the Zeliangrong community. Prof Dr. Mathew MK is President of Zeliangrong Welfare Committee.

IGP Dr. IK Muivah, in his address, urged attendees to seize the present moment and strive for excellence without delay. He emphasized the transient nature of the student phase – the phase of being a student ends around 25 years or at the most 30 years – urging students to focus on acquiring expertise in their respective fields through dedicated effort rather than seeking shortcuts for exams.
