Zingsho Katamnao Long felicitates MU toppers for Bachelors Degree Exam 2020

The Zingsho Katamnao Long (ZKL) organised a felicitation Programme for the Successful toppers for the Bachelors degree of Manipur University Examination 2020 at TKS office , Ukhrul headquarters on Tuesday.

Mr Ngachanthing Shipo, the president of Zingsho Katamnao Long asserted in his address that the “toppers achievement has made the whole Zingsho region proud”. He also mentioned that “their hard work has resulted in this achievement and this is the stepping stone towards many other endless possibilities”. He also added that “there will be more bigger challenges but they should continue their commitment and work harder towards their goals and Zingsho Katamnao Long is always supporting them in their endeavours”.

Mr Hormi Mecadon, advisor to the ZKL Team also shared his appreciation towards their achievement and reflect upon the belief that there has been a lot of changes in the zingsho region of the tangkhul community.

The President of Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS), Mr Wungnaosung Shokwungnao also exhorted with appreciation for the toppers hard work, and said that he is “convinced that this are the fruits of their labour and they need to be more patient, face more challenges and resolve through it so that they can enjoy their labour in the coming days too”.

The Chairman of Zingsho Longphang, Mr Joshua Konghar also joined in the program and shared his appreciation to the students as well as the executives of the ZKL for organising such programs and shared his hope that the students will be honest, diligent and dedicated towards their goal which will be a beacon of light for the whole region.

The programme was moderated by Mr Rapei Keishing and with invocation for the meeting by Mr. Ephraim Rayi (President Sambu Raiping Katamnao Long). It ended with vote of thanks from Abner Jamang (Vice President – ZKL) and the closing prayer was offered by Mr Yursem Varam President, Katho Katamnao Long.

The names of the successful students are as follows:

  1. Wonshimla Jamang from Chahong Khunou Village, daughter of Nelson Jamang, 2nd position B.com Hons, DM College of Commerce Manipur.
  2. Shap Makan  from Koso Village, son of Dharmi Makan, 4th Position B.com Hons, DM College of Commerce Manipur.
  3. Chirmi Tinphei from Shangshak Phunghon Village, Daughter of Ningreingam Tinphei, 3rd position B.A Hons Political Science, Don Bosco College Maram.
  4. Yurthingchon Mayashang from Phungyar Village, daughter of Mayonmi Mayashang, 3rd Position B.A History Hons, Don Bosco College Maram.
  5. Ningkhanwon Mangkung from Sorbung Village, daughter of Loveson Mangkung, 8th Position B.A Political Science Hons, Don Bosco College Maram.
  6. Khayingrin Hungyo from Chahong Chingthak, daughter of Jacob Hungyo, 9th Position B.A Home Science Hons, Liberal College.
