‘Ukhrul district is a big contributor to Manipur politics’: Tikendra Singh

"Manipur owes much of its political growth to the immense contributions Ukhrul district has made. The district has given the state its longest serving and the first tribal chief ministers in the persons of late Rishang Keishing and late Yangmaso Shaiza, who hailed from far-off Phungyar area and Ukhrul constituency respectively."

“Ukhrul district is prominently figured in the political history of Manipur because of its immense contributions,” stated BJP State President Prof Tikendra Singh.

“Manipur owes much of its political growth to the immense contributions Ukhrul district has made.
