IMPHAL: The police in Manipur is offering cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for identifying suspect(s) responsible for murder and robbery at Churachandpur branch of State Bank of India (SBI).
On September 4 morning, unidentified gunmen shot dead a bank ATM refilling staff member of SBI Churachandpur branch before robbing Rs 1.15 crore meant for replenishment of SBI operated ATM booths in the district headquarters.
Even as the incident took place in the crowded market area of the district headquarters, police investigating into the case are still clueless.

The police have also taken custody of three colleagues of the deceased staff, Arambam Ranjan Meitei (37).
Through a press release the district police announced the cash reward of Rs 1 lakh for any individual who can provide information leading to the arrest of culprit (s) responsible for the murder and looting.
The identity of the informant will be kept confidential, the police assured, in the release.
