112 Bn CRPF Conducts Cleanliness Drive at Kangpokpi District Hospital

KANGPOKPI: The 112 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) conducted a cleanliness drive at the District Hospital, Kangpokpi, and its surrounding areas on Wednesday as part of an initiative to promote cleanliness and public awareness.

The drive was organised under the Ministry of Home Affairs and CRPF Directorate General’s “Ek Din, Ek Ghanta, Ek Saath” initiative, aimed at encouraging responsible waste disposal, hygiene and environmental awareness among personnel and the local community.

Around 100 people participated in the programme, including hospital staff, students and teachers of Elite Higher Secondary School, and officers and personnel of 112 Bn CRPF stationed at Kangpokpi.

The participants actively cleaned the hospital premises and surrounding areas, reinforcing the importance of maintaining clean and hygienic public spaces.

The initiative also sought to encourage greater community participation in cleanliness efforts and promote a sense of responsibility towards the environment.

The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, teachers, hospital staff and CRPF personnel, highlighting the importance of collective action in maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.
